Cheeky's Info...

Cheeky's Story...
We were doing laundry for the adoption center at a local laundromat. As we were leaving, we saw Cheeky in the parking lot. She kept wanting to go into the grocery store next door. Because of the neighborhood we were in, no one was paying attention to her...ignoring her pleas for help. We went over and she gently came to us and off we went. No microchip, no collar, and she was in heat! We immediately got her to vet, had her checked out, spayed, shots and now she is looking for a safe loving home! If you are interested in learning more about Cheeky, feel free to email us! An adoption application can be found on our web site - www.peeweespals.org

Please come visit our Adoption Center/Thrift Store to meet many of our adoptable animals! It is located at 3018 N 16th St, Phoenix, AZ 85016.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheeky, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
