Roxie's Story...
Meet Roxie Roller
This sweet fun loving girl has had a hard time. She was found as a stray on Vancouver Island and no one came forward for her.
She is 2 - 3 yrs old, recently spayed and as you can tell from her picture, she had eye surgery to correct a condition called Entropion. But she is all better now and is ready to find her own home.
Roxie is currently with the Cowichan Animal Shelter and they can be contacted

Telephone: 250-748-3395
Toll free: 1-888-811-7722

Located at: 2202 Herd Rd, Duncan, BC V9L 6A6

Roxie will only go to an experienced home. She is not suitable for a home with cats and we do not know if she is good with other dogs.
Please contact the shelter directly to set up a time to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Surrey Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Surrey, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Surrey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Surrey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Surrey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Surrey paves the way for another one to be saved.
