Casey's Story...
We'd like to tell you that Casey will stay out of your way and that you won't even notice her....but it isn't true! Casey has been a character from the day we met her. She's fascinated by everything that is going on. She's curious and alert -- and she will be a BIG part of your life! Her appearance is unusual as well - she has a beautiful calico coat with large areas of white, a combination we don't see often.

Until she finds a forever home, Casey is fostered in Hazel Green, AL. She's accustomed to small children, other cats, dogs, and make you smile every day. All Casey needs is a chance - and a home to call her own. Please email info@FORrescue.net to learn more about her and you may complete an application at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/. It isn't binding, it is simply our starting point! Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
