My name is Woodrow. Woody for short. I am a little beagle boy with a great big beagle bark. I love it outside and love to play. I am just coming out of the month rehab period for heartworm treatment. I am doing great and should be heartworm negative in January when I am tested next.
I am a sweet boy and love to sit beside you and let you love me. I would love to be the only dog, but if necessary, I can share you with another. I am quiet except when I hear something to bark at. I make a good watchdog even if I am a little boy.
I had bad teeth and they had to take them all out. I have some periodontal disease to my jaw so I have to be very careful not to hit my jaw or mouth on things. It can break my jaw and then I will be in trouble.
I have to be very careful around children and other dogs. So that is why I can’t go to a house with children but maybe one other small dog is okay. (No dog at all would be best)
I had a buddy with me when we were picked up, Wilson, but he got adopted and now it is my turn.
