Homer is male Aussie/Lab mix who came to Furry Kids' Refuge when his time had run out at a local kill shelter. Homer loves people, loves tennis balls and loves to run...he would make a great jogging partner! ! He is very good with female dogs but he is not always comfortable with other male dogs. He tends to act dominant unless the other male is very easy going. We are unsure if Homer is housebroken because he is in boarding until a foster home to become available. A crate/kennel is a great tool in helping master this skill and she is worth the time & effort! He's a smart boy...so it shouldn't take any time at all!
Homer has been neutered, heart worm tested negative, vaccinated, micro chipped. Please fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on 'Adopt A Dog' and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch.
