Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This 8 mos old boy landed in a high kill shelter when the landlord of a no-pets building found out about him. Garfield is a very sweet & gentle boy who wants to be involved in whatever you are doing. Still very much a kitten, he is outgoing, playful and enjoys life ! He doesn't need an invitation to rub & twine around your legs or spend some time on your lap to show his affection.
If you've never been owned by an orange tabby, you don't know what you've been missing! They have the best purr-sonalities! Eager to find a home Garfield is the purr-fect family cat and will quickly become a cherished family member. He 'd gets along with other cats (and is seeking a home where he'll have another young cat companion), would likely be OK with a mellow dog, and is child friendly too. Visit him upon request at our Capitol Hill adoption fair. Updated 11/15/14
