Cody's Story...
Hi there, I was found on the streets of Mexico with my 2 brothers. Rover's Retreat rescued us and brought us here for a better life. I am very sweet and have adjusted to being with humans immediately. I have done very well in my foster home. I love other dogs and love to play. I am good with people and like to snuggle, sometimes it takes me a bit to warm up though. I am potty trained and do well if left for a little bit.I would really like another dog, I am always wanting to play with one. I am good with kids. I haven't been with cats, but probably could adjust since I am younger. I will get my last set of shots next week and be neutered just after that. I would love to be a part of a family!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a San Diego Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
