Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rocky is a 1 1/2 year old Great Dane / Shepherd mix. He is a big, tall boy that LOVES everyone. Rocky is the biggest cuddle bug. He would love to be a lap dog and sleep in bed at night with his person. Rocky would have the most fun romping through the trails then taking a nap on the sofa with you. He is GREAT off leash and will stay with his person whether hiking, camping or just a leisurely walk. Rocky would do best with an active family and lifestyle and we are looking for a family that enjoys being outdoors. Rocky's tail NEVER stops wagging!
Rocky is such a personable boy. He would follow you from room to room in your home helping you with the chores. Rocky was rescued from a high kill shelter in TN and ready to go to his HOME.
If you are interested in giving Rocky a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861.
Rocky's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.
Rocky lives with a foster family in Tennessee and will travel by professional pet transport to his new family. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee areas.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
