Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ms. Edith is looking for her family:
Edith is a sweet, 28 pound, 5 year old, female Beagle who has finished her heartworm treatment YEA and is now looking to take the next step of her journey, a FOREVER HOME.
Edith is very independent of other dogs, and likes hanging out with her human. She’s a nice size Beagle, enjoys going for walks and being outside. Edith does bark so I don’t recommend her for an apartment or condo. She’s a very bright and happy girl, and settles down nicely when I am watching TV or reading a book. Again, just likes being in the same room with me. Snuggling and cuddling is a work in progress. She loves having her crate in the living room so she can go in and nap but still be part of the rest of the house.
Edith’s forever home wishes include:
A single person, a couple or family with older children,
Another dog or not.
Medium crate required
A fenced yard or not. She’s used to being tied out.
Edith is “move-in-ready”. She’s ready for her forever home, and because Edith is very sweet, she’ll bring the right family much happiness. And even though she’s not a big into cuddling now, give her time, she will be.
If you think you could be a good family to Ms. Edith, then you should meet her. We generally go to the Petsmart Adoption Event in Rockford, IL on the third Sunday of each month, but check her webpage to see what event she will be attending. Can’t attend an event! Contact your adoption counselor who will contact Edith’s foster home to see if meet and greet arrangements can be made.
