My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Dixie and I am a four year old mom who just cannot bear to be without my 8 month old daughter Shine. We eat, sleep, and play together. I even get nervous when Shine goes outside without me.

Although we still have a few accidents, our foster parents are teaching us how to walk on a leash and do what we are supposed to do right away.

Secretly I wish for a forever home with a doggie door and a secure fenced in yard so Shine and I could run and play outside whenever we wanted. We are beagles so we love to sniff and bark at critters. Most of all we love to snuggle and be petted by anyone, anytime!

Although I have had some seizures, and am taking phenobarbital to help control them, as long as I gets my medication and regular checkups, I can lead a normal happy Beagle life!
