Pooh Bear's Story...
I'm away at Prison Pups N Pals earning my canine good citizen certificate and learning all my basic obedience commands. I'll graduate at the end of December and if you are interested, please call the wonderful people at Halifax Humane and let them know.

I’m a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half-full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with me. I’m a dog on a mission to please you.

Like all HHS animals, Pooh Bear is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, has a registered microchip, comes with 45 days of free pet health insurance, and much more. This is all included in Pooh Bear's adoption fee!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pooh Bear, a Daytona Beach Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Daytona Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Daytona Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Daytona Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Daytona Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Daytona Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
