Clive is one gorgeous boy
..he has the most amazing 'houndstooth' pattern in his fur, combined with the unique diluted colors he is stunning. Clive was originally rescued a few years back and was adopted to a wonderful home, unfortunately after a year in his new home his family split up and no one could take him where they were relocating.  This family took lots of wonderful pictiresnof Clive he even has his own instagram hashtag #clivetheplotthound.  As is our policy, we always welcome the dogs back into our program.  His previous foster welcomed him back with open arms.  But, something was different about him, he still loved the cats, bit now he was being reactive to other dogs...we soon learned that at his previous home a stray dog jumped into his back yard and attacked him...his previous adopters never told us this had happened.  We have worked hard with Clive and a trainer...but unfortunately after several months it has been decided that Clive needs a home with no other dogs, he deserves that...a forever home and a life not living in fear he is gojng to be attacked.  A home with cats is fine (as long as they are dog savy). Clive is a very loving dog, he likes long walks or just hanging in his fenced in yard.  He enjoys afternoon naps on the sofa watching TV or curled up on the dog bed in the kitchen.  His favorite toys are ones with squeakers that he loves to free from their bondage.  He like chewing on bully sticks & nylabones too!!  We have some adorable video clips of Clive we can share with you.  He loves to play 'King of the mountain' on they old car in the yard and sit on the roof watching the sunset.
A required vet reference and a home visit are needed.  I am an indoor dog with outdoor privileges.  All of our dogs are house & crate trained.  Homes with fenced in yards are preferred.  All our pets are spayed/neutered, and  up to date on their shots prior to adoption.  Adoption fee of $185 and goes towards the cost of care for this pet and future animals we rescue. Depending on adopter's location transportation fees may apply if the adopter is out of state we use licensed professional transports and their fees range from $150-$185.

You must complete an application before being able to visit a dog. If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies need lots of attention and companionship.

Upon interest in one of our dogs, please send an email inquiry to rbynsnest@yahoo.com and tell a little bit about your family, an adoption application will be sent to you.  A complete application is reguired before a meet-n-greet or home visit by us with the dog to ascertain the fit between dog and family.  Meet-n-Greets are by appointment only.  Please note that we require you to be age 21 or older to adopt a dog.

About Robyn's Nest Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Robyn's Nest founded in 2004, is a small grass roots animal rescue, dedicated to helping the stray, abandoned and abused animals in Nashville and surrounding areas. We are 100% Volunteer run & operated. We are 'grass-roots' rescue, we receive no grants or special funding. We operate solely on our own funds and contributions from friends and supporters. Our secondary goal is to assist and educate the residents in the area on proper care for their animals. Such as the importance of spaying and neutering your animals and providing your pets with the proper vet care and upkeep, discouraging the tethering of dogs 24/7, our motto is all dogs should be indoor dogs with outdoor privileges. Since November of 2004 approx 3500 (as of 2/2013) animals have been rescued. The animals enjoy a full rich life here & in Foster Homes until their forever home comes along. All the animals are completely vetted and kept current on their vacinations. When old enough and healthy enough, all animals are spayed/neutered before going to their new FURever homes. We often adopt out of state and arrange safe, humane transport to our adopters. While under our care they receive training, socialization and loving care.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our rescue dogs live in private foster homes. Meet-n-greets are by appointment only. An application must be submitted prior to an appointment being set.

Our Adoption Process...

We accept donations to offset the cost of vetting and so we can assist other animals. We require home visits, vet references, and personal references. All animal are indoor animals with outside privileges, fenced in yards are preferred We require a signed adoption agreement, and a spay/neuter contract (for puppies & kittens).
