Mighty Mouse's Story...
Admitted by a woman on the south side of Chicago where she had been living outside from birth, Mighty Mouse is much too sweet and delicate to make it as an alley cat. It is a true pleasure to be in the company of this petite and pretty ingénue. She is purry and drooly for affection, and will hold your hand between her paws to rub on you. With her multi-colored tabby-striped spots on white fur so soft, Mighty Mouse is decked out in the most beautiful of coats to meet her future family. Her dark green eyes look out at the world with trust and love to give, and whoever meets her is bound to fall in love. DOB: 2013

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mighty Mouse, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
