My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GUNNAR is a special guy! He is a super smart and sweet 4 to 5 month old pup. He taught himself to use the dog door in 10 minutes! He is FANTASTIC with dogs, cats, and kids. He will literally lay in the floor and let cats crawl all over him. He can get along with absolutely any dog. There are two 10 year old pups in his foster home. If they don't feel like playing, one little growl is all it takes for Gunnar to completely back off and walk away.
GUNNAR adores affection. He will cuddle all day if that is what you feel like doing. He is also thrilled to ride around in the car for hours. He is a wonderful passenger. His foster mom taught him to sit without using any treats because he is very motivated by praise.
Gunnar is a good boy in his crate. He will chew a yummy kong and stay quiet. However, he has been sleeping on a doggy bed at night and not having any accidents. The little girls in his foster home are just smitten with this perfect pup!

GUNNAR is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $450 adoption fee includes health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

For an adoption application on GUNNAR please email wbtanner1982@gmail.com

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
