Lucy's Story...
Lucy is a bouncy, pocket-sized little Feist puppy, ready to follow you anywhere! Lucy loves to play, and her antics will entertain you for hours. She's not even three months old yet, so she's still a baby, but we're pretty sure she's going to be a small dog even when she's full grown. She is very friendly, and such a happy little girl, despite being found all alone by a busy road in Alabama. Lucy is very excited about finding her own family. If you'd like an application for this adorable girl, email us at (Check your spam folder if you don't hear back from us.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Ijamsville Feist puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist for sale in Ijamsville, or seeking a Feist puppy from a breeder in Ijamsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ijamsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ijamsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist breeders who help with Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ijamsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
