My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ember ("EM, Emmy OR Emby") is a gorgeous one year old black female with natural ears. She is a wonderful, sweet, loving, happy-go-lucky girl that loves life. Ember tends to be a bit shy with men at first, and with small children. She actually likes to follow/chase small children as if to play, and I wouldn't recommend a household with children under 12. Once she knows a new man in her life she will smother them with kisses and pure love. Ember can be a very happy and rough doggie playmate! She loves high energy playing, along with chase and tackle. Emmy loves to run and is very well behaved on a gently leader leash. She loves to go on walks, and she loves car rides. Em will even dive right into your car on command. Ember is great with all dogs, and cats and horses, however she will chase a cat if they run but not to hurt. Ember is very obedient and intelligent. She sits, down, paw, comes, backs, and stays on command. Ember loves to cuddle in bed and will turn upside down feet straight up in the air and sleep as long as you are rubbing her beautiful belly. She loooves her belly rubs and will plop down in front of you, rolling over exposing her belly begging for them! Ember will need a home with a lot of energy, as she is just a pup. However she loves to sleep if you are relaxing. Ember will need a little time adapting to new people, but if she has a confident doggie companion this will help her tremendously. She wasn't completely house trained when we got her, but she learned the doggy door immediately. So you made need a little patience initially to show her where to go outside. (bells on door work!) Ember will make a wonderful companion for a loving forever family with a dog that needs a high energy playmate.
