Bones's Story...
Bones is a young and beautiful redbone coonhound that was found as a stray in Houma, LA. He was picked up by a good samaritan but she was unable to keep him. He was skin and bones when he was found which is how he got his name. He is super sweet, loves other dogs, children and adults. He is house trained. He loves walks, car rides, playing in the yard and playing with other dogs.
Our adoption fee is $300. We require that our dogs live indoors with access to a securely fenced yard. We do home visits and check vet references prior to an adoption. We also require that our dogs be on monthly year round heartworm prevention.
Please email QueenB534@aol.com for more information and to request an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bones, a Folsom Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Folsom, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Folsom.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Folsom already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Folsom breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Folsom paves the way for another one to be saved.
