Raven's Story...
Meet Raven!
* Raven is part of the litter of "Halloween Pups:" Salem, Morticia, Elvira, Candy Corn, and Raven.

BRPBR President Melissa got an urgent message from one of our partners Amy from Pathway to Hope asking us if we can help them with getting a litter out of Georgia. There were 6 puppies in need of rescue, one female in need of major heart reparation surgery. Pathway to Hope was able to rescue her and get her the surgery she needed, but unfortunately she didn't make it (RIP, Spirit). Pathway to Hope also did not have room for the rest of Spirit's litter. While BRPBR typically does not pull dogs from the South, we wanted to help out our partner rescue, so we made an exception this time.

Raven is 12 weeks old as of 11/1/14. She will be fully vetted prior to adoption including spay, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and on monthly heartworm preventative.

If interested in adding Raven to your family, please visit our website at www.bellareedpbr.com/adoption for an adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raven, a Southampton Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Southampton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Southampton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southampton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southampton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southampton paves the way for another one to be saved.
