Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Nick! This handsome boy is one of the most special dogs in our program for a few reasons. First of all, Nick is one of the most handsome dogs you will ever see. We think he is a Mountain Cur mix, weighing about 60 pounds and is about 1 1/2 years old. Nick has a beautiful, soft brindle coat of brown, black and rust stripes like a Bengal tiger and the warmest brown eyes that are so expressive and soulful. Secondly, Nick has a very unique story of joining our program. He showed up at one of our busiest foster homes and just started hanging out in the front yard demanding to live there. Nick came everyday for a week. He cried at the gate to get in, let us put a leash on him easily and took a walk with us. He easily posed for pictures, and even jumped in the car when we were loading up some dogs to take to transport. Nick just insisted that he become part of the Critter Cavalry family. And lastly, he is one of the nicest, kindest and most interesting dogs that you will ever meet. We think he would do well in almost any situation that a good dog owner would provide, but he does not want to be left alone to fend for himself. (He has not been around children, yet.) He obviously enjoys human company and would love to forge a strong bond with his humans. We imagine that Nick would enjoy accompanying his new owners on hikes in the woods or walks in the park, and he would be just as happy cuddling up at your feet while you read or watch TV at night.
