My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we are asked about a special rescue pup that is snuggly, sweet and very fun-loving, we can't help but think of Moose. His smile is shining...and maybe just a bit mischievous. We know it's morning when Moose's little head comes under the blanket...getting closer and closer..and then a huge kiss of love. This curious and really, really smart 3 month old, 5 lb mix is a truly great companion. There aren't many visible signs that Moose was in a very scary high-kill shelter. A warm hug and reassuring words..and Moose bounces back and cuddles just a bit closer. We picture Moose as the best friend to retirees, or a playmate for another dog/kids. He'd be so loyal.. and overjoyed to share his love and good will. There's also no question that Moose would be the most popular guy on the block. Once comfortable, he loves to engage and just be his entertaining, adorable self. Even though Moose is usually up for pretty much any activity, he's never pushy or yappy. Exercise..perhaps long, leisurely walks to socialize with neighbors..and mental stimulation that comes from his time with his humans is important to this guy to keep him happy and well-behaved. it's not that he requires extensive amounts, just enough to keep him healthy and stimulated. Moose would also enjoy time with older (12+) dog-loving kids. He's such an easy guy to bring along. You can just scoop him up and he'll lie happily in your arms. Or grab a backpack and Moose will snuggle down for a long hike with a great view from above. Moose derives so much joy from his relationships, we would love to see him in an active family that just loves him dearly...he's a great pup who deserves this in his life.

Moose will arrive on transport in Denver on 11/14. If interested in this sweet and exceptional companion, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com.
