Paulina's Story...
Hi there! I am just loving indoor life! You see, I was born to a great mother but she was an outdoor cat, who made friends with a family and was working her way inside, but then my siblings and I came along and the family couldn't keep all of us. So that's how I ended up with St. Francis! My other siblings have already found their forever homes, but I haven't been so lucky yet. My foster mom doesn't understand why, since I have the best personality!!

I'm the friendliest kitty you'll ever meet, and I love to get to know new folks! I like to play with other kitties and toys, sit with my person on the couch watching TV, and I even like to watch my person work on the computer! While I don't meow very much, I do purr A LOT! I purr so much because I'm such a happy kitty. Can I brighten your home everyday by being happy with you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paulina, a Tampa American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
