Skye's Story...
This dog is being fostered in San Antonio, Texas and must be adopted within the San Antonio/Hill Country or Austin area.

Skye is a petit 4 lb girl of about three years. She is an unusual color – blue brindle – which just adds to her charm. She is generally a friendly little thing and loves to be cuddled. Because of her tiny size, a home without young children is probably preferred. She seems to be housetrained and goes eagerly to the door when invited to go out to potty. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. She is all ready to go to the right home. Her adoption donation is $200.

This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption agreement along with her adoption fee of 200.00 are inclusive for her adoption.
Please be sure to read about our adoption process and then fill out an adoption application before emailing the contact person at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skye, a San Antonio Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
