Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome little puppy is Bounce, a 6 month old boxer/lab mix that is hoping for a fresh start in his young life. Bounce came to us from down south with several of his friends when he found himself in need of rescuing. How could little young pup wind up in a shelter you might wonder, but far too often people get the adorable little 8 week old puppies, then when they begin to grow up, they get bored with them. That may be the case with Bounce but we'll never know. Bounce is quite shy when he first meets people and it takes a few minutes to gain his trust. Bribing him with some nice treats works, and he takes them very gently. Once Bounce realizes that you're okay, his tail wags nervously and he crawls to you to get some affection. Bounce is extremely sweet and lovable, and just wants a good family to treat him with kindness and respect. He has not had much experience with walking on a leash but he is already learning and making progress. He doesn't know much about toys either but we're sure he'll learn soon enough. Lance gets along well with other dogs and relaxes more when he is with a dog. He would prefer a home with no small children under the age of 10 though. This sweet little guy is so eager to start life over in a great home, with a family that will give him the lifetime of happiness that he deserves. File#24121 11/15/14
