My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bruiser is a handsome and well-behaved, seven to eight-year-old, male black shepherd-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Bruiser’s family gave him up to Chicago Animal Care and Control, and Oak Park Animal Care League rescued him from there. He may be middle-aged, but he still loves to play and go for walks!

He has the typical loyalty, intelligence and protectiveness of a shepherd. He is housebroken, walks great on leash and is active but enjoys his nap time.

Bruiser loves people of all ages, but could make friends with another dog as well.

He is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested and micro-chipped. His adoption fee of $75 benefits rescued pets. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact the ACL at 708-848-8155 or e-mail adoption@animalcareleague.org
