Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Riane is a very sweet purebred Border Collie girl who is between 4 and 5 years old. Riane, (pronounced ry-anne), has made her way back into rescue after being adopted a few years ago. She was not returned at any fault of her own, she is a wonderful girl! She loves to be around people and is very well-mannered. She is such a sweet girl, and loves to give hugs. Riane is fully house-trained and knows several commands, including sit, lie down, stay, and shake. She also has a very good recall. Riane wants nothing more than to please her people, and has the potential to learn anything you want to teach her!
Although she isn't too interested in playing with them, Riane does well with most other dogs. She doesn't like dogs getting in to her face and will growl at them to let them know she isn't happy, but so far in her short time in rescue has met several other Border Collies and has been fine with all of them! We aren't sure how Riane does with cats. Her former owner tells us that Riane has been nippy around young kids in the past, so Riane should not go into a home with children under 10 years of age.
Riane lives for playing fetch and is very toy motivated! She is pretty good about bringing toys back and will keep going as long as you do! She will play with anything you throw, and can catch it right out of the air if thrown right. If you aren't in the mood to play, that's okay! Riane is also very good at keeping herself entertained with a toy. She will roll a ball around the floor for hours.
Riane would love an active family, with plenty of toys to play with, to call her own!
