Abbey's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Abbey's Story...
I am a beautiful medium hair tabby that has spent my life playing with my 4 siblings, and bunnies. That’s right, bunnies. I haven’t been around dogs yet, but I am pretty sure I could handle it. Same with kids. I can’t wait to love some kiddos! I would love to be around other cats rather than by myself, and I love to cuddle, too. If you would like to meet me, I am fostered in Huntsville, AL but can travel to surrounding areas without a problem. If you have any questions, please email info@forrescue.net. You may also complete an application at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abbey, a Knoxville Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
