Update 12.12.16
Blu is a sweet little black dog with a sad hx. Before he was 6 months old, he came into Hubbard's Hounds with a broken jaw. He had been abused as a puppy and he carries the scars with him still.
He is a small lab mix about 50#'s.
His jaw has been fixed and he has no issues. He is 3 years old now.
Most of the time he is a fun loving, affectionate dog. He is playful and gets along with the other pups here. But is frightened of any surprises. Even if I come out of the shower with my hair in a towel he takes an aggressive stance. All it takes is me to smile and tell him it ok and it's me and he rushes in for attention. But he sounds scary and was returned due to this.
He does not like men. And the surprises and fast movements of kids is really not ideal for him.
He requires a fenced yard, a friendly playful dog, no kids and no men.
He has that here and he is wonderful except for momentary little blips.
He has never bitten but if really afraid I am not sure he wouldnt.
With that said, he is a funny, pleasant, playful, affectionate little dog in the right home. He sleeps in bed and loves to cuddle.
If you can give this little abuse survivor a home that meets his needs, pk ease apply. He would love his own home.

He helps with the laundry when I am trying to fold it. He takes the garbage out. He brings me my shoes, (and then takes them away again).He tries to help me undress by pulling on my pants. He helps pick up anything on the floor. When he tracks in he rolls all around in the mud to clean it up:)) He cleans my feet when I am trying to get my socks on.
As you can see he is a hard hard working little boy.
Oh, did I mention he is a medium sized black dog that is all puppy. He has recovered from a fractured jaw that he came to us with. He is neutered and up to date on boosters. HW negative and on preventative. He helps keep the others dogs in shape with his non stop playing. He is a sweet little boy and is very loveable. He is still making up for his lack of socialization , but is an eager and smart student.
Blue Bayou is a joy. Plain and simple. And he needs a family just as wonderful...could that be you?
