Buddy's Story...
Hi there everyone, my name is Buddy. I am just 10 months old (as of November 2014) and weigh 40 pounds. I am a shy guy, but very loving…I just need some time to get used to not being a shelter environment. I have made my TV debut and I think I did well. I walk nicely on a leash, love napping on the couch, and I love belly rubs. I wouldn’t have a problem living in a house that has a cat. I hope that you will open you heart and your home and give me a chance to join your family!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Cambridge Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
