Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, I'm Kovu! When I first came into the rescue I was really scared of people. I would run and hide, and jump at random noises. Now I LOVE to snuggle with my foster mom! She cuddles me like a teddy bear at night, rubs my belly for me, and gives me lots of kisses. She says I can be a bit naughty still. I don't see what's wrong with taking food from their plates or stealing bread. Why can't I have people food too? I'm told I could lose a little weight, but I just loooove food so much! Only way I'll shed the extra weight is by being on a feeding routine and extra playtime.
Despite my progress, I'm still shy with new people. I'll sit in the room with them, a few feet away, but I'm not too interested in having them pet me. I'll likely take awhile to warm up to my new family too, but please be patient with me. I just wanna know I can trust you first. Treats help ;)
I would do best in a home with other cats, because I feel most comfortable with them around. I'll spend my spare time running around the house with my cat friends, and playing with my favorite toys! I'm okay with small dogs, but big ones kinda scare me. Might be okay if they're calm and friendly though.
