Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SUNI IS A FEISTY ENERGETIC PEKINGESE HOPING FOR A LOVING DOG SAVVY ADOPTER. Suni is a character, a happy boy with a proud wagging tail. His jaw was broken in his past so his tongue hangs out on the crooked side, adding to his charm! Suni has quite a personality and is by no means a wallflower. He is happy and affectionate but carries baggage which can cause a grump or a growl. He has food and toy guarding issues but can easily be redirected. Frankly his bark or growl is more often his way of playing but he can get snappy and therefore he should not be around kids. He needs a family with dog or peke experience that can help him learn appropriate behavior and make him know love and safety. He does well with most dogs unless they are afraid of him as he will bully them. He is unsure of cats but should do fine over time. Suni's adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, dental, heartworm and fecal check, and microchip. Our rescue is home based fosters and we work full time so we will get back with you as soon as we can. He is charming and learning his potty manners. If you would like to learn more about him feel free to contact us. If you would like to adopt him, we can email you an application. If we don't choose you, don't be upset with us. He needs a solid home that won't give up on him knowing what challenges lay ahead.
