Jake's Story...
Hi I'm Jake! I'm precious fun loving guy that LOVES attention and kids! I am around 3 years old and only around 32 lbs so I am a great size to play. I do fine with other dogs and love toys! I would really like to have a backyard that I can run around in and someone to play with. Right now I'm living with some nice people that can't keep me. They are gone almost all day everyday so I have had some issues with housetraining. I'm very smart though so I really believe as soon as I get on a schedule I will be housetrained in no time. I'm not really too fond of cats, I like to chase them a bit too much. I would REALLY love to have some kids to play with though!

I'm neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. I am currently being fostered in Knoxville, Tennessee but I'm not picky about where I end up as long as I am loved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Knoxville Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
