My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well, our southern rescue partners were told Annie is a min pin/dachshund/golden mix. At 4 lbs we are not too sure on that but whatever she is, she is 100 percent adorable! She appears to be a scruffy terrier mixed with spunk and personality! Annie is 12 weeks old (as of mid-November) and if I had a pocketbook she’d be its resident! She is a total love. She was living outside chained to a tree and then given away – thank goodness someone contacted a reputable rescue for her! She has blossomed now that she is bathed, cared for indoors and ready to roll!

Annie uses the doggie door like a champ! She will bring in leaves and sticks through the doggy door, how funny is she? She is learning to walk on leash and she does well in her crate. She is full of personality and spunk, and is already learning to sit and stay. She is great with the other dogs in her foster home and has not been exposed to cats - most would be bigger than her! She is wonderful with the foster mom’s granddaughter.

To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.

Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.

Thank you for considering rescue!
