My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How to begin with a girl as sweet as Sam..... Sam is the perfect example of how important spaying and neutering is. Her owner sent Sam and her litter of 6 puppies to a kill shelter.

In a world that has not been good to Sam, she remains gentle, loving, and resilient. She is kind with all people, potty trained, intelligent, and very very very snuggly. She would love nothing more than to cuddle up with her new loving owner on the couch or in bed and just relax. Sam came to us very undernourished due to her lack of a family and a full litter of 6 nursing puppies. We would love to find someone to continue helping us fatten her up!

Sam loves taking walks in the beautiful colorado scenery, When she looks at you it is easy to see this sweet baby has been through it and still has so much love to give. At her age and temperament Sam would be the perfect addition to any home. She has truly touched our hearts.

It is Sam's love affair with life and all the hardships that she's suffered along the way that motivates us to put Sam through Heartworm treatments..her precious life deserves to be saved! Sam has tested low HW+ and Farfel's (with the help of Rescued Pets Movement of Houston and Dr G in Denver) has volunteered to save this very special dog's life. The heart worm treatment process involves several shots followed by a short period of quiet time for the dog. We have found this protocol to be very successful and the dogs go on to live long, happy lives.

We are seeking an adopter to lovingly care for Sam as she becomes Heartworm negative. It's quite an easy rehab process as it only entails mellow time with soft words and belly rubs. Farfel's will pay the vet bills and provide premium food and treats for this special pup as she becomes healthily heartworm-free.

Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested in this sweet and devoted companion, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com.
