Nemo :o)'s Story...
*****COURTESY POSTING*****

Nemo is a wonderful 4 year old Labrador mix (with Golden Retriever?) whose family moved out ot the country and couldn't take him. He is a dream dog with a sweet and very friendly disposition, and everyone who meets Nemo, falls in love with him. He wags his whole body when he meets you and when you're with him, you can't help but smile :o). He is loyal and smart and gets along well with other dogs and is good with children--the perfect family companion!! He has a mellow
temperament and a low to medium energy level. Nemo loves to ride in the car, go for
walks and play tug-of war. He would love to be in a home with some activity or with someone who will take him for car rides.
Currently, Nemo is in foster care in CT. Please contact foster mom, Cate Mulvey, by e-mail for more information and adoption application:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nemo :o), a Bridgewater Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Bridgewater, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bridgewater.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgewater already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgewater breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgewater paves the way for another one to be saved.
