Hondo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hondo's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This is Hondo. He is a handsome young 1 year old German shepherd male. He does well with other dogs although he is dominant . If Hondo were to join a family with another male dog a meet and greet will have to take place prior. Cats are not a problem Hondo is  living with 2 whom he pretty much ignores. Hondo would make a great addition to a family with children as he currently is living with three in his foster home raging from ages 3-12 years of age. Hondo can scale a 6 ft fence easily, so a home with an invisible fencing  might be preferred. Hondo knows sit and lay down and he even will howl when you ask him :)  He is completely housebroken and does well in his crate.  For more information on Hondo, please contact Brenda at Brenda_laf@yahoo.com .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hondo, a Churchville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Churchville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Churchville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Churchville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Churchville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Churchville paves the way for another one to be saved.
