Please welcome Hans and Greta.  They are a bonded pair that will only be adopted together.

Brightstar received a call from a concerned person who said these two dogs were being starved and asked if we would take them.  Greta weighted only 42lbs and Hans weighed 51lbs.  They had never been to a vet for anything and needed to be spayed and neutered.

That was a month ago.  They are now spayed, neutered, up to date with their shots, crate trained and are 15lbs heaver.  Their coats are starting to shine and are starting to play.(they were to weak when we first got them).

With all they have been through, these two are  really starting to shine.  They did great at their first Meet & Greet and I suspect it is going to be all up hill from now on.

They have never been with any other dogs, right now they bark at them.  We also don't know how they would be with cats.  They have much to learn and seem all to willing to try.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Greta, a Churchville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Churchville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Churchville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Churchville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Churchville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Churchville paves the way for another one to be saved.
