Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Millie #1792 is a stunning1.5-year-old female Great Dane. This lanky-long legged girl has a great temperament and a puppy demeanor. Millie is very smart and attentive. She is house and crate trained and knows basic commands. She is very food motivated which makes training easier, but tall enough to counter surf. Her foster mom reports that she walks well on leash, but will need reinforced distraction training. She is playful and energetic and plays well on her own with toys. After playtime, Millie likes to relax on the couch in her foster home. She is gentle and affectionate and typical of her breed she likes to be with people. Because she is still in that awkward-puppy phase we recommend a home without other small animals, or animals that are savvy enough to get out of her way as she makes a b-line for the door. She would do well in a home as the only dog or with a playful dog that is big enough to engage in play. She would like a home with a fenced in backyard and an adopter who has the time to take her on at least one walk a day. We are seeking a breed experienced adopter for this lovely pup; one who understands the breed and will have time to continue her training and socialization. Continued obedience training and pack walks will stimulate her mind, continue to build her confidence and will establish a good dog/adopter relationship.
