Rock's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rock's Story...
Let's welcome Rock to ADA! Rock is a middle aged, Dogue de Bordeaux/Staffie mix who came to us from Richmond Animal Care and Control where he had waited to find a forever home since last Feb, even though we was the most handsome man in the building! Rock is 70 pounds of pure lovin' who wants to be with his person all of the time! His ideal home would have a fenced in yard and a nice young lady dog for him to play with. He would also like to have a new mom or dad who is home with him most of the time and will let him sleep in the bed!

$175.00 adoption donation helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases, microchipped and vaccinated for rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rock, a Staunton Dogue de Bordeaux/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dogue de Bordeaux/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Dogue de Bordeaux/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dogue de Bordeaux/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Dogue de Bordeaux/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
