Jake's Story...
Jake is a one-in-a-million type of puppy and will melt your heart instantly! He and his five siblings were living in a barn all alone and then were found by a person who brought them to animal control. They planned to euthanize them because puppies have no immunity to disease and that's when we stepped up to take them. Jake joined our rescue last week, has had his first checkup and is a healthy boy. He is a very calm puppy that is going to make a great pal for car rides, fishing trips... you name it! Jake is very well-mannered, respectful and is doing wonderfully in his foster home. We can't say enough about this fantastic little guy!

All of our puppies have had age appropriate vaccinations, have been dewormed regularly, are spay/neutered and micro-chipped before they go to their forever homes at 12 weeks of age. If you're interested in adding Jake to your family, our adoption application can be filled out via this link: https://www.formstack.com/forms/?1201327-X9yESEs4rG

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Mount Juliet Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Mount Juliet, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Mount Juliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Juliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Juliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Juliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
