Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Milo!! Milo is by far one of the sweetest, most affectionate pups you will ever meet! Not only is he ridiculously adorable with beautiful eyes, he is incredibly gentle and a perfect addition to any family. He is curious of his surroundings and loves to experience new things! He is 100% potty trained (also is learning to ring a bell when he needs to go outside) and is doing really well learning “sit”, “stay” and “come.” He loves going for walks around the neighborhood and waits patiently for his humans to put his harness on. He gets to go to the dog park a few times a week and does really well! He loves all people, kids and dogs, and is always very social and gentle with whomever he meets. He hasn’t been around cats yet. He loves to cuddle with his people as well as find a toy and play by himself. He does great in his kennel! Currently he is in there for about 8 hours during the day and then later at bed time, but he is also good on a doggy bed at night. He really is the happiest pup and is a complete joy to be around. Milo truly deserves nothing but the best and can’t wait to find his perfect forever home! Milo is estimated to be about a year old and weighs about 33 pounds.
Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed and size when grown.
All dogs are spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis. If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday January 10, 2015, at Fetch Delivers Warehouse, 783 Harding St. NE. Suite 150, Minneapolis, MN 55413, from noon - 2 pm. Occasionally dogs cannot make it to the Meet & Greet, therefore feel free to verify if your dog of interest is able to attend. Please bring a copy of your pre-adoption application.
