My name is Dwight and I am about eight years old.
My human parents became lost and I could not find them. All alone on the streets, the doggie police found me and took me to a shelter in Columbus Ohio. I was so sad there and it was so noisy....this seems worse than the streets. Not for long though, because Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati found out about me and came to take me to a foster home in Cincinnati.
I am now learning how to be happy again. In fact my foster mom calls me "happy" because my little cropped tail never stops wagging. I am housebroken and I know how to use the doggie door. I do great on a leash for walks and I think car rides are the best.
My favorite thing to do is snuggle with my foster mom or dad at night while they watch TV or read. I like kids but I prefer older kids.
This past week I had my teeth cleaned and only two pulled. All of my shots are U-T-D. The vet said "Dwight is one of the sweetest for kids I have ever seen"...what a huge compliment that was. My foster mom agreed.
You can be the one I give forever hugs and kisses too. Just fill out the application to adopt me.
My fee is only $250.
Thanks for reading my story. Dwight
