I’m Slim, one of the Adoptees here at Animatch, and this is my story. Someone decided to tie me up outside the SPCA in Valleyfield and when they were told that this wasn’t acceptable, my human moved on. Sadly, he made a worse decision and abandoned me near the highway where I was found running in the middle of the road, I was so frightened. Finally, I was brought to safety. Thank goodness there are some good humans in the world and they have promised that they will make all my troubles go away. I am quite undernourished; I weigh only 43 lbs. In time, I will need to put on some weight – slowly. Despite having been let down by my humans, that is all behind me now and I’m ready for my happily-ever-after. I am an expert snuggler and so affectionate; I will look at you with my soft brown eyes and melt you heart. I am good with other dogs but my one true love will definitely be my human. Once I get back on my feet, I’ll need daily exercise in order to get back my muscle tone. If you are looking for a handsome head-turner of a dog, well, you can’t do better than me. If you have a home that would welcome me for the rest of my life, I’d sure love to meet you. Just fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Slim.
