Lila's Story...
Name: Lila
Color: White and Grey
Breed: Lop Ear Domestic Rabbit
Gender: Female
Age: Young Adult
Lila is a young female Fuzzy Lop mix looking for a loving home.
Big fan of: She can be a little shy at first but with a little patience becomes sweet and affectionate. She would enjoy some supervised time outside of her cage to hop around and explore.
Dream Home: Lila would love an experienced home where she can take all the time she needs getting comfortable. A roomy cage with toys, snacks and things to chew on will be required to keep Lila busy. Rabbits may be small but they require plenty of time devoted to their care. They can be great pets for kids but the parents should always expect to be the main caregiver.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lila, a Bellingham Lop-Eared was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lop-Eared for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Lop-Eared from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lop-Eared breeders who help with Lop-Eared rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
