Otis's Story...
Otis
Born 9/22/14, male White Odd Eyed White

Yes I do have a unique feature. I have a blue eye and a green eye. I think that makes me very unusual and extra handsome.
But also I must tell you I have a short white coat, so no brushing required. I am a wash and wear easy keeper!

I am a little cuddle bug and love to snuggle with my foster mom. I am extremely social, I love other cats and kittens and I enjoy the friendly foster dogs.
I can chase feather toys with endless energy or just chase my tail! I am not fussy about toys! I am so ready for my new home and will be available mid December.

I am fostered in the Sacramento area

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otis, a Davis Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Davis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
