My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Gracie and I am a beautiful beagle girl that is 8 years young. Have you ever heard that there is no love like the love of a senior dog? Well let me tell you that is a true statement. I love to love, to be petted and I like to cuddle. I will be your forever friend in no time, I promise!
To tell you a little bit about me; I was found as a stray near Sidney, Ohio and was shuffled around for a bit before Midwest BREW found me. I had ACL surgery in July. I am all healed up but I tend to take things slow and I don’t like to do too many stairs. Right now I live with my foster mom and foster beagle sister who have been letting me live a happy life. That is very relaxing and I very much enjoy the easy life.
Lately I spend my days lounging on my dog bed and I love to look out the window and watch all the goings on in the neighborhood. Once in a while I will bark my deep beagle bark to protect my house or at least let foster mom think that I am the guard dog on duty. I do get a little bit of spunk in me and I like to chew a bit on a soft dog toy. I especially like hiding my toys in different rooms of the house. This seems to entertain my foster mom, but I don’t see what is so funny about this?
As a mature lady, I am completely house trained. I am also following the latest diet that all the beagles in Hollywood are on…the green bean diet. I realize it would probably be best if I lost a few pounds to help me be stronger on my recovering leg.
I am a smart girl and I know what I want, like most beagles. I would very much like a calm home that will let me be me. I like the company of my beagle foster sister but she is 7 years old and likes to nap with me. I like the canine companionship but I am not too fond of young pups that would disturb my beauty rest.
I am a super sweet girl, I smile a lot and I will do your heart good! Contact Midwest BREW and ask for Gracie.
