My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Lexi. I am a petite, 22.5lbs, 8 year old gal. I was about to be euthanized because no one was looking at me but the kind people at Midwest BREW rescued me. Foster mom says she can't believe no one was interested in me because I'm super cute and super sweet.
I love long walks and long naps. It took me a few weeks to adjust to living with my foster family. Lucky for me there's another beagle here who helped me adjust. He's such a nice foster brother. I've become a little more independent these days. I don't have to wait for him to go out to potty in the backyard anymore. Speaking of potting... I am almost completely house trained. Foster mom thinks this living in a house thing may be new to me. I have to say I like it. I like it a lot! So I'm working very hard on being housebroken.
Right now I am being fostered in the city where there is a lot of traffic and activity. I am getting better about loud noises. It's just that loud sounds scare me a little. Also, I was cowering a lot when my foster family would go to pet me, but I'm much better now and I love getting a good petting.
I am good with kids but would prefer kids over 8 that understand I am getting used to the good life. I really like other dogs and get along with cats. While my foster brother enjoys sleeping on the couch, I like to sleep in a cozy bed on the floor, maybe even next to your bed one day??????
Thinking of an older gal that likes to take walks and would love your company....? Well look no further! But please understand it might take some time for me to trust you, but foster mom and I are confident I will!
If you think I’m the gal of your dreams, contact Midwest BREW for more info.
