Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have an extreme mosaic male chinchilla looking for his new home. His name is Myshkin. Myshkin was born in December 2008, and is approximately 6 years old.
Myshkin is a sweet chinchilla. He is curious and likes to explore. He comes to the front of the cxage when you open the door, so he can see what is going on. He does well with being handled and petted. He does not bite.
He enjoys playtime and running around, though he’s not super active like some chinchillas can be.
Myshkin would do well as a “first chinchilla” for someone who has never had one before.
Myshkin has gotten along with other chinchillas in the past. However, he is currently housed alone, and we cannot guarantee that he will get along with your chinchilla.
As with all of our chinchillas/rescues, Myshkin will come with 2 pounds of food to start you out (Mazuri pellets), a baggy of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet.
He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell everything from hammocks to cages and everything in between – anything you could possibly need or want for your new chinchilla.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
