Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have an almost 2 year old rabbit that is up for adoption. He is named Nyler. His original home said that he was mini rex, but his fur doesn’t quite feel that way, so we believe he is a mini-rex-mix. Nyler is a un-neutered male (buck) and is white with black spots.
This rabbit is very sweet and loves to be around people. When you go by his cage, he will come over to the side you are on, hoping for attention and pets. He does well with being held and petted, and does not bite. He would be a great “first rabbit” for someone who’s never had one before.
Nyler was at this rescue once before – he was adopted out to be a pet in a home-day-care setting. Unfortunately, situations changed, and his owner was unable to continue to care for him, and he has come back. However, he did great with the kids at the daycare, and is a very nice rabbit.
He loves his hay and veggies and is eating like a champ. As he is a mini-rex-mix, he is a small rabbit, maybe 2-4 pounds.
He is partially litter box trained, though some poos do make their way outside of the litter box.
He will come with some food and chews to get you started, as well as our rabbit care booklet.
All potential homes will be asked to read our rabbit care packet and fill out an adoption form. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No rabbit will not go to a new home without an adoption form being filled out - no exceptions.
