Shadow's Story...
Shadow is absolutely fantastic and his foster family says that he is the most perfect, adoptable dog ever! He is young, but he is very calm and is just now figuring out how to play. He has a lot of love to give and can't wait to share it with his very own family. Shadow is doing wonderfully with the other dogs, cats and children in his foster home. He has also been infant tested and approved :) He is housebroken, loves walks and is ready to find a new home before the holidays!

If you're interested in adding Shadow to your family, our adoption application can be filled out via this link: https://www.formstack.com/forms/?1201327-X9yESEs4rG. Shadow has been vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested (he is NEG), neutered and micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Mount Juliet Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Mount Juliet, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Mount Juliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Juliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Juliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Juliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
