Missy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Missy's Story...
Missy is the newest gal to come to our crew. She spent 3 years with another organization and recently signed over to us in hopes of finding her a forever home.

Missy is a very sweet gal. She has a very dedicated volunteer who walks her a few times a week. He always has the best things to say about Melissa. How sweet she is, loving, funny, quirky.. She would make a great companion to a home with no small children as she is a bit timid. She likes other dogs but prefers laid back dogs.

Missy has been waiting a very long time for her forever home. We just can't figure out why. She is a joy to be around. She loves going on adventures but is laid back enough to hang out on the couch. Missy needs a family. Can you help her find her forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Shelbyville Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Shelbyville, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in Shelbyville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shelbyville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shelbyville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shelbyville paves the way for another one to be saved.
